Eighty Ninety, the musical project of Brooklyn-based brothers Abner (vocals, production) and Harper (guitar, production) James, are back with their new single “Got Your Message.” The new track – which premiered exclusively on Billboard – will appear on the band’s highly-anticipated sophomore EP alongside their recent single “10K Summer Nights.” The EP, titled Bowery Beach Road, is slated for release this Fall.

Eighty Ninetys New Single Got Your Message

“Got Your Message” stays true to Eighty Ninety’s breezy indie-pop aesthetic. Marked by minimalist production, alt-rock inspired musicality, and laidback melodies, “Got Your Message” explores the heartbreak that comes from wanting to be with someone but knowing that they’re not the right person for you.

Eighty Ninety catapulted onto the scene in 2016 with their break out single “Three Thirty,” which hit #2 on Spotify’s Global Viral Charts, and was followed by their debut EP Elizabeth. Since their first EP, the duo have continued to roll out buzzy singles, racking up over 22 million Spotify streams and grabbing the attention of Billboard, Alternative Press, Huffington Post, LADYGUNN, and Ones To Watch.

The past year has been momentous for the indie-pop brothers: they recently headlined Elsewhere Zone One and have seen successful runs opening for both Des Rocs and Savoir Adore. Eighty Ninety even received the stamp of approval from Taylor Swift when she added their single “Your Favorite Song” to her “Songs Taylor Loves” Spotify playlist.

With a recently inked deal with Hard 8 Working Group (home to Billie Eilish, FINNEAS, Ashe) and a sophomore EP on the way, Eighty Ninety are a name to keep on your radar.
