The EP carries the theme of love throughout each track, touching on the insurmountable highs, lows and tumultuous in-betweens one experiences within the emotion. The listener is swept away by quintessential vocals and lyricism which are coupled with the lively production of Pier’s talented piano and DJing abilities.
One highlighted track is the EP’s main title, “Tonight (feat. Junior Ceasar.” This track especially embodies the overall feel of the EP. The delicate piano accompanied by Caesar’s animated vocals crescendo into the perfect upbeat pop anthem. We are also big fans of “Stay (featuring Aaron McMurray)” and its super danceable beat.
Ferris’s ability to manipulate his preferred instrument, piano, and have it mesh and blend seamlessly no matter what vocals accompany it is truly reverent. “Each song stands alone well, but I really love how these songs interact when you play them in a series,” Pier said when commenting on his ability to maintain such flow in his EP.
