ELLE MB is the moniker of 29-year-old classical trained vocalist Lina M. B. Lina started writing music on the side while slowly diving into the cities jam-session-scene.
She linked up with musicians Paul Keilhau, Raphael Sturm and Konstantin Wenning to write and record her debut EP which is due to be released in April 2024. ELLE MB‘s songwriting revolves around the grand theme of interpersonal relationships while trying to illuminate all the nooks and crannies and contradictions of modern everyday live within an urban environment. While doing so, she navigates topics like personal growth as well as radical self-acceptance and tries to capture these feelings in nuanced vocal performances. ELLE MB’s music is vaguely oscillating between the genres of Pop, Neo-Soul and contemporary R’n’B with a sprinkle of jazz-harmony and a soft spot for detailed sound-design.
