    These rules ensure every submission is consistent, accessible, and ready for quick editorial review. Please follow them closely to reduce revisions.

    1. Structure & Layout

    • Headlines:
      • Max 70 characters, written in Title Case.
      • Clear, engaging, and keyword‑friendly.
    • Subheadings:
      • Use H2 for main sections, H3 for subsections.
      • Break content every 2–3 paragraphs.
    • Paragraphs:
      • Keep to 3–5 sentences each.
      • Use plain language and avoid long blocks of text.
    • Lists:
      • Use bullet points or numbered lists for clarity.
      • Avoid embedding lists inside paragraphs.

    2. Word Count

    • Standard articles: 600–1,200 words.
    • Features/interviews: 1,200–2,000 words (with prior approval).
    • Reviews: 400–800 words.

    3. Style & Tone

    • Voice: Conversational, inclusive, and professional.
    • Tense: Present tense where possible.
    • Perspective: Third person preferred, unless it’s a personal essay.
    • Clarity: Avoid jargon; explain terms if necessary.

    4. Links & References

    • Internal links: Add at least 1–2 links to relevant Divine Magazine articles.
    • External links: Only to reputable, non‑promotional sources.
    • Anchor text: Descriptive (avoid “click here”).

    5. Images & Media

    • Featured image: 1200 × 675 px minimum, landscape.
