Angelo Flow releases his second single “Hot Steppa” on Candela Records, featuring UK/Jamaican rapper J Spades and Dutch producer Diztortion. 

Following on from the club hit “Solu Tu”, Angelo teams up with UK rap pioneer J Spades on the the dancehall influenced new banger, “Hot Steppa”. Fusing the artists’ Jamaican and Venezuelan Caribbean flows and London vibes with Angelo’s falsetto to complement J Spades legendary lyrical style. Where dirty Dutch meets Caribbean flow in a fusion of reggaeton, electronic European sounds and dancehall.

Angelo Flow and J Spades performed  “Hot Steppa” live for the first time at the Latino Life In The Park Festival 2022, the UK’s biggest Latin festival, in front of an audience of over 20,000 people, shutting down Finsbury Park’s Candela Stage and marking a new era in the history of Latin music in London

Venezuelan born Londoner, Angelo Quesini, known as ‘Angelo Flow’, is rooted in the evolving rise of latin and reggaeton club culture, having already notched up singles “Que Tu Quieres,” “Rosa Como Tusi,” “Soy un Santo” and “Solo Tu” which was supported by tastemaker DJs DJ City, DJ Phenom, Danny West, Vlatz, ETX and NY DJ Kazzanova. His Latin-Caribbean crossover style and commercial sound mark him out as One To Watch.

“Hot Steppa” is the second single for UK-based Candela Records, the UK’s only label dedicated to Urban Latin music. Written by singer-songwriter Angelo Flow and J Spades, with beats created by the Dutch-born producer Diztortion, best known for his work with Stylo G, Lethal Bizzle, Tinie Tempah and Sigma.

The video was directed multi-award winning music video director Jay Parpworth (Dizzee Rascal, Russ Millions, Dappy, Fredo) and was shot in East London.

Candela Records is a joint venture between Atlantic Records UK, ADA and LatinoLife, focused on developing and launching a unique hybrid of UK-Latino-Caribbean sounds on a global stage.
