Los-Angeles Singer/Songwriter, Nick Isham returns with a simple, yet stunning new video for “Just Because” a track from his 6-song EP called ‘a piece of me pt. 4’.  It is Nick’s 2nd EP release of 2021.  He has been releasing music since 2018 and is so excited to have the music video out for this newest single.

“Have you ever had a relationship end for no other reason than the fact that it just wasn’t right?

I wrote this song last year with my co-writer Jack Conway.  I came in with the phrase – ‘just because it’s good doesn’t mean that it’s right’.  And told Jack about relationships I had been in that honestly didn’t really end badly in any way, no big arguments or anything… just simply not right.  We talked for a while about it, and this song came about. “

“The music video for “Just Because” was awesome to create. I got to work with my brother, Jake Isham, as the director, a one-man film crew.  He did everything from the cinematography to the editing!  Also shout out to Vivienna Isham, Amanda Pieper and Courtney Isham for all they did to help on this! Jake and I wanted to go for a very simple, yet bold look inspired by music video directors such as Director X and Hype Williams… Contrasting the natural, daylight shots in the verses, with the heavily lit, night shots, shot on anamorphic lenses, in the choruses.  It was done for next to no money, all on our own. We built the stage used in the 2nd and 3rd chorus on our own, in our parent’s backyard with old wood scraps. All of this to say, it was a great experience, and we are excited to share this with you all!”
