Vancouver’s queen of R&B, Rude Nala, just dropped a captivating new video for her R&B smash, Zaza, and it is a must-watch. The aesthetic of this video perfectly compliments her sultry vocals, along with the distorted-low frequencies and the classic hi-hat/808 percussion in the production.

“The ‘Zaza’ visual gives viewers an insight of my vibes/energy and a few things I enjoy most. It’s personal!” – Rude Nala

The ethereal music video was directed by Tee Volatile and 4K Carlos from Vida Creatives, edited by Tee Volatile, and produced by Ana Pyrna. Nala is a star, maintaining the center of attention for the entire video. Starting in the woods, Rude Nala lounges with a book, a glass of water, and a black cat on her lap, fitting to her name. A stark shift from the wholesome nature scene, Nala is next seen stretching across a bed in an enticing, white corset while serving sass to the camera with just her eyes and flawless lyrical delivery.

Every scene is proof that Rude Nala knows exactly how to command a camera and communicate with her viewers. The camera-work on this music video deserves its own recognition. The entire video was shot either with a red-tinted filter or with accent red lights, adding a sexy vibe to the video and indicating availability. Many of the later shots in the video are playful and filtered, adding a lighthearted vibe to the party scenes where partygoers are playing and enjoying themselves.

With a variety of outfits and an immaculate performance, Rude Nala stuns as an alluring R&B starlet.
