Indie singer songwriter Josiah Mann has a new single out called “One Mistake”. This timeless, thoughtful ballad features Josiah on both piano and vocals.

Born and raised in Springfield, Missouri, Josiah Mann grew up having played the piano and singing in his church class at the same time as studying classical music at school. He has worked hard over the last decade on his debut album Grace, although was focused on his career as a product designer and software developer.

Since focusing more on his music, Mann has now released three singles from his new album, one of which is “One Mistake.” This song is heartfelt, introspective and really paints the picture of someone who made that one mistake that broke a loving relationship. The piano melody is especially memorable in this track.

Mann´s debut album Grace explores the optimism and sometimes naivety, of first love and the heartbreak that ensues after a failed relationship.

“In my life, my M.O. has been going against the grain,” the Springfield, Missouri-based artist says. “I’m not necessarily proud of that, I just do things differently—I feel like I only really learn through failure.”

While “One Mistake” is more melancholic, there is still an air of optimism about it too.

“One Mistake” is out now, with the debut album Grace to follow in 2023.
