Good of All Things. A simple, but powerful expression that New York City musician Andy Rosen has not only taken to heart, he took it as his moniker: Goat. Spending a few minutes listening to his catalog, as well as his latest work, and you will see that it is a fitting handle for this unique and talented songwriter.

Following up on his single, “Miracle”, which is an homage to nature, humanity and the Animal Kingdom, Goat has released his latest song, “When The Dust Catches Fire”. The new piece is a thoughtful and raw expression of our life’s journey reaching its end.

Listen to “When The Dust Catches Fire” now:

“When The Dust Catches Fire” is about scattering the ashes of a loved one,” adds Goat. ”It’s my way of saying goodbye, but never forgetting.”

Goat is best known for his hit song “Great Life”, which was featured in the teen cult thriller, I Know What You Did Last Summer. Not only a hit movie, the soundtrack spent 18 weeks in the top spot on the album charts and brought another level of attention to Goat’s burgeoning career.

Through his career, Goat signed multiple record contacts, including major label stints with Interscope and Columbia. He has also toured throughout the world as both headliner and support, and has spent time in the studio with some of music’s legends.

“When The Dust Catches Fire” is the second single from Goat from his upcoming album, which he plans to release later this year. Fans of Goat’s unique and compelling piano playing will be happy to hear that he is releasing a series of instrumentals throughout 2022 and beyond.
