Hailing from Seattle, Eclectic Indie-Folk Duo The A.M.s released their cinematic track, “Ignite the Sky,” stirring up bittersweet emotions of abandonment and reconnection.

The debut single merges smooth vocals from Adrian Libertini with consistent, driving background vocals from Mariko Langan layered with guitars, dual piano, and multiple drum tracks to capture the orchestral percussion. With imminent loss comes surging hope and the track’s profundity and emotional immensity makes it the perfect song to imagine yourself in the backseat gazing out the window in a monochromatic music video.

“Humans coping with separation – whether because of adoption, quarantine, distance, or death-try as we might, we can only do so much,” The A.M.s state.

The A.M.s new track is humanizing and broad in terms of the kind of loss each of us endure in our lifetime connecting us with one another. The new single makes you feel understood, comforted, a fire within you will ignite and you will feel certain that the stars will align once more reuniting your soul with whom it’s been longing for.

“Spiritually, we’ve been a band way longer. Probably from a past life,” says Langan.

“Ignite the Sky,” is now available to stream and download on all digital music platforms worldwide.
