New York City musician Andy Rosen, or Goat as most people know him by, has been writing and performing music for as long as he can remember. From major label success to touring all over the country, he has seen many changes in the music landscape since he started. But it’s the changing landscape of the planet that inspired his latest work and new single, “Miracle”.

“Every now and then, a stand-out person comes along and lifts my spirit and imagination, sparking dreams of being a better human being,” explains Goat. “John Lennon is such a spirit when it comes to songwriting, and his and Yoko’s song, “Imagine” is one of my favorites. Most recently, Greta Von Thunberg has captured my attention. I wrote “Miracle” with all of my heart and soul in homage to Greta and all of nature, humanity and the Animal Kingdom. As the song asks, ‘what’s it gonna take to save the world…?’ It’s going to take a Miracle.”

Goat will be a familiar voice to many from his hit song “Great Life”, which was featured in the teen cult thriller, I Know What You Did Last Summer. The Soundtrack ended up spending 18 weeks at #1 on the album charts and shone the spotlight on Goat and his budding music career. In addition to more film and TV licensing, Goat signed a deal with Interscope records, has released 7 albums and toured all over the world.

Andy Rosen was born in Cleveland to Theresa Anne Blumberg and Cleveland Indian’s slugger, Al Rosen on February 1st, 1957. Contrary to the normal reference for the goat moniker, Andy’s meaning is more a reflection of his positive attitude and outlook on life: Good Of All Things.

“Miracle” is the first song from Goat since his last full-length album release, Yesterday’s Tears, which came out in 2019.  He promises more singles over the next year, a new studio album, and live performances.
