With lead single “Hearbreak Suicide,” Wallace shared a breathtaking debut music video directed by Megan Chumbley depicting the Shakespearean tragedy of twin flame love lost. Showcasing Wallace’s writing chops and commitment to authentic expression, The Revue attests:

The urgent, pop-rock approach immediately grabs hold as does Morgan’s deftly autotuned vocal. Raw, vulnerable emotion pierces through the glimmering guitar and the delicate keys, and all the while the arrangement ebbs and flows as somber, brittle moments are interrupted by illuminating catharsis. The approach reflects Morgan’s tale of  losing someone she loved; someone whom she lived through but can no longer. Her love is undying, as represented when she sings, “I’m wearing white to your funeral like it’s my wedding night”. This is one of the best lines of the year.

The second single “Unconditional,” (accompanied by a dreamy lyric video) finds resolution in the antidote of self love. The song ends with spoken word poetry and a cinematic instrumental build that serves as a sonic bridge flowing seamlessly back into the intro of “Heartbreak Suicide” to illustrate the cyclical nature of life’s pain and joys.

Sonically diverse, the EP’s lyrical through line tells a journey of heartbreak, acceptance, exploration, fear, freedom and self discovery. A journey home to self.

“Twin Flame Interlude” begins with a voicemail from her past, a raw moment of vulnerability sharing some of her most intimate memories with her listener.  “Perfect Stranger” offers a more light hearted encounter with fate, a brief cosmic connection told by floaty production and ethereal vocals. “Download” brings more upbeat energy by way of a psychedelic dance record referencing digital fatigue and the inner workings of the mind’s anxieties and inherent desire to understand itself. Produced by Aly Lakhani (aka Lackhoney) and Noah Luna in Nashville, Tennessee with help from Ben Pleasant and Charlie Hackemer, mixed by Adam Lochemes of the band Arlie – the EP is accompanied by a visual diary shot by Daniel Chaney (recently collaborated with Kacey Musgraves), photos by Mamie Heldman, artwork by Mekea Larson, styling by Claire Brandon with executive creative direction and production by Wallace Morgan.
