The Brilliant and award winning teen singer Aspen Jacobsen is back with a brand new single, “Shouldn´t Give a Damn.”

With a beautiful guitar and violin introduction, “Shouldn´t Give a Damn¨ is a stunning Americana and country folk song that showcases Jacobsen´s flawless voice. Aspen´s talent shines through, thoughtful verse lyrics and a glorious chorus sung with a passion, this song takes the listener on a journey across America with its range of musical soundscapes with its country style fiddle and electric guitar accents.

This song is the second release from her long awaited recording project with Dominic Davis, who produced her new songs and played bass. The result is a limited edition CD which is currently available to purchase on her website.

Davis is a sought after producer in his own right and has worked with the likes of Willie Nelson and Greensky Bluegrass. Aspen and Davis have been working together since they first met at the Wheatland Music Festival.

Aspen´s has a voice much bigger than her years. She can be likened to early songs of Sheryl Crow, Ani Di Franco and Caitlyn Smith. But the modern twist that she brings on this song shows her artistic talent which has also led her to study multiple art disciplines including professional theatre, opera and dance. She currently attends Interlochen Arts Academy as a singer-songwriter major where she is studying jazz improvisation, and backing up musicians of all ages.
