Formed in the Spring of 2016 in Chicago’s suburbs, emo/grunge group Skylines will release their debut EP Whats Left of Home on December 15th via Wilhelm Recordswith pre-orders available here.

Sam Sanetra (vocals/guitar), Steve Skulski (bass) and Phil Minneci (drums) blend their broad musical influences from metal to pop-punk to forge an emo/grunge outfit with an unshakable sound. Recently performing single “Sunface” acoustic, the band shares the performance with a live video.

All meeting at different times, the lineup for Skylines has played alongside Being as an Ocean, Hundredth, The Color Morale, Hot Mulligan, Abandoned by Bears and Carousel Kings, and delivers a deep, heavy sound that pulls on the souls of listeners.Premiering single “Sunface” and it’s official music video on New Noise Magazine, Skylines brings in notes of deep-seated ambience with undeniable fits of screaming passion in What’s Left of Home.

Following their first EP Where We Think We Are, What’s Left of Home is Skyline’s second, swirly release under Wilhelm Records and is the band’s proudest package. Skylines is now available for interviews to complement any features.

Sanetra on What’s Left of Home:

“What’s Left of Home feels different, and sounds different from anything Skylines has come up with. I remember when I sat down with Phil and Steve to write, and I remember sitting down alone to write the lyrics. It felt surreal. It was the first time we got the master version of the songs back and I said, “there’s no way that’s us. There’s no way we actually sound like that.” And that’s the best part. It really IS us. We’ve climbed our mountain inch by inch and we finally made something out of it. Skylines really wanted to put out authentic, emotional, and energetic music this time around. My personal favorite track is “Disposition” and I’m dying for everyone to finally hear it.”
