The inspiration for “Take Two” came from a series of poignant life moments that turned a simple idea into a mission statement:
- The Spark: An Uber driver told Dani, “Life ain’t a dress rehearsal,” a line she knew belonged in a song.
- The Depth: After her uncle passed away, her grandfather urged her to keep chasing her dreams while she still could.
- The Transformation: Following the death of her co-writer, John Cirillo, Dani performed the track at his memorial. This performance solidified her resolve to release the song and inspired her upcoming EP.
