Here’s a rising star from Milan, Indiana, a town famously connected to the iconic film Hoosiers. Rachel Holt embodies the genuine essence of small-town America through a voice that extends far beyond her origins. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in bluegrass traditions, with both her father, Tony, and grandfather, Aubrey, being celebrated musicians, Rachel has crafted a unique path as the “country music girl in a bluegrass family.” This blend of influences gives her music a richness and depth that you won’t find in many emerging artists.

At just 19 years old, Rachel has already built an impressive career that you’ll want to follow closely. She’s shared the stage with legendary performers like Ronnie Milsap and newer talents such as Zach Top. Her performances stand out because of her magnetic stage presence and the experience that surpasses artists twice her age. When you listen to Rachel, you’ll hear a sound that combines the grit found in Miranda Lambert’s music, the soul that Lainey Wilson brings, and the storytelling prowess of Kacey Musgraves. This unique fusion makes her a compelling artist to watch in the country music scene.

Rachel’s backing by industry veteran Chris Wallin will pique your interest in authentic country music. Wallin, known for crafting hit songs for Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, and Trace Adkins, supports Rachel’s traditional values in music. Under Baste Records, Rachel released her breakout single, “I Was Gonna Be,” which debuted impressively at #9 on the Billboard Country Digital Chart. This success helped catapult her to the #21 spot on the Billboard Emerging Artists chart, signaling that Rachel is gaining serious attention in the industry and in media circles. When you hear or see her perform, you’ll understand why high-profile platforms are quickly noticing her powerful presence.

With the strong support of Baste Records and her catalog of heartfelt, genuine songs, Rachel is prepared to take her electrifying live show to audiences across the country and beyond. Booking Rachel means more than just securing a concert—it’s an opportunity to invest in the future of country music and bring a fresh, passionate performer to your stage. If you have the chance to experience Rachel Holt live, don’t miss out on the extraordinary talent that she promises to be in the coming years.

What first got you into music?

My grandfather, uncles, cousins, and father all play bluegrass music. My mother sings as well. I grew up going to bluegrass festivals and singing in church and eventually picked up a guitar and started learning myself!

If you could go open a show for any artist, who would it be?

Cody Johnson! Best concert I have ever been to.

What would you be doing right now if it weren’t for your music career?

I originally planned to go into nursing, which is what my mother did. Until I started playing shows and realized that I can do music as a full-time career!

Was anyone else involved in writing, recording, or producing the songs?

When I first started making music, my cousin, Tom, had recorded in his studio. My first album was made up of songs written by me, my grandfather, and my father. Now, I am with a label in Nashville and write a lot with my producer, Chris Wallin!

How do you advertise your music?

On my first album, I made CDs and took them to my shows. I also advertise on social media more than anything!

Could you please share your most unique talent or party trick with us?

I can say my ABC’s backwards in 5 seconds.

    Tell us your best joke.

Why didn’t the rooster cross the road? Because he was a chicken.

Are you a cat or dog person?

I am a dog person all the way! I have a white Labrador.

If you had a time machine, would you travel to the future or back to the past?

I would travel back to that past! I want to go back to the 50s-70s.

You are a new addition to a crayon box. What color would you be and why?

    Pink. My favorite color!

“How Dare Me” showcases Rachel’s rich, emotive vocals and her knack for pairing heartfelt lyrics with a fresh, modern country sound. It’s a track that resonates with anyone who’s ever had to face their missteps head-on, both vulnerable and empowering, with a chorus that stays with you long after the song ends.
