While her previous album, One By One, focused on learning to breathe after life unraveled, “Back to Me” captures the conviction and perspective that follow. Erin, a mother of four who has spent a decade raising her children independently, wrote this song not from the middle of a crisis, but from the life she fought to build.
“This record isn’t about starting over for me, it’s about continuing,” Erin shares. “I learned that independence doesn’t have to feel lonely. It can feel like freedom, and that quiet, steady joy is all over this song”.
A Powerhouse Collaboration
To map this journey from “getting lost in the dark” to finding clarity, Erin teamed up with elite Nashville songwriters:
- Brian White: A veteran with over 400 cuts for artists like Rascal Flatts and Jason Aldean.
- Pete Sallis: Three-time Grammy winner known for his work with Maddie & Tae and Ronnie Dunn.
Together, they transformed personal struggle into a universal anthem of renewal, blending grit and faith into a soul-stirring production.
Advocacy Beyond the Music
Erin’s commitment to empowerment extends far beyond the recording studio. In 2022, she founded the Twice the Love Foundation, which provides essential support to single parents rebuilding their lives after a crisis.
