Izzy Raye has channeled her frustrations with the music industry, and turned them into an empowering, brand-new character in her newest music video and single “Favorite Girl.” As she creates her alter ego, the video takes the viewer on a journey through the pressures of the music business and the culture of change that fills the industry.

“I didn’t think I’d release music for a long time because I felt sort of jaded about the entire industry. But I had this collection of songs that I was really proud of, so I pushed myself to put it together. While doing so, I created this alter-ego, Favorite Girl, who is all of the bravest, most persistent parts of myself. She embodied the attitude of all of the songs, and so I leaned into this persona.”Izzy Raye

Filled with eccentric outfits, makeup, and a simplistic, yet futuristic set, this video sets Izzy Raye apart from your modern-day alternative pop princess as she steps onto the scene with her latest EP Favorite Girl. Featuring five tracks that delve even deeper into Raye’s colorful world and introspective take on the music industry.
