Rutherford Royal has returned with his second ever single. Entitled “Lords & Ladies”, the track details that all too relatable feeling of having the world spinning around you.

From heartbreak to loss and even stress, Rutherford Royal has concocted an ear-pleasing Americana-dipped tune all about that uncomfortable feeling. He confides, “you know that feeling when you finally get a free moment to think and the world is still spinning a bit, and you notice that hole – that pang you’ve been tuning out? This song is about that.”

Sonically “Lords & Ladies” features fuzzy and hazy bass with bright guitar notes under Rutherford Royal’s meditate vocals singing pure harmonies. Rutherford Royal blends garage pop, rock and even folk and Americana for a unique sound all of his own. “Lords & Ladies” follows his debut single “Back Burner” shared last month.
