Kris “Halo” Pierce

Kris “Halo” Pierce is the award-winning music producer, songwriter, and DJ based out of New York City, who is gearing up for his next album, Artificial Breed. He has released a series of singles once a week over the past month, starting with “Blue Flower,” the synthpop and electro-pop song in collaboration with Tijen.

He has released his latest single “Outside of Time,” a melodic-based electronic song with a  space-like ambience layered over the melody. Written by Kris “Halo” Pierce, Jason Bazinet, Jason Lazzara, “Outside of Time” is about how time freezes when we live inside our own thoughts, yet time doesn’t stop moving. The processed vocals sing “Take a break You/Need to Align/Just get out You’re/Dying inside/Outside/The sun will shine You’ll find your Way to climb.”

The amount of lyrics in the song are light. There aren’t many, but of the few words heard, the lyrics are heavy. The synthetic nature of the vocals with the electronic beat over the more traditional melody drives the message of how the thoughts we are stuck in are disproportionate to reality, that the time spent in our head is dissonant to our lives.

Anders is the creative force and technical architect behind Divine Magazine’s editorial identity. Blending Scandinavian minimalism with a sharp instinct for digital storytelling, he shapes the magazine’s voice, visual rhythm, and structural clarity. His work moves between worlds — part editor, part engineer — ensuring every article is not only beautifully crafted but technically flawless beneath the surface. From SEO frameworks to asset design, from WordPress architecture to the magazine’s cinematic featured imagery, Anders builds the systems that let stories breathe. He curates Divine’s tone with intention: clean lines, honest language, and a commitment to elevating everyday subjects into something quietly extraordinary. Whether refining editorial workflows or sculpting the magazine’s long‑term creative direction, Anders brings a steady hand and an eye for detail — the kind that turns a publication into a signature.
