As we know, Victoria has been through the biggest lockdown process of any Australian state, musicians have been affected, and many of them have chosen to express their feelings through song. This young coastal Victorian duo share dreams, hope, love and connection through their music. With Kate’s warm angelic voice and Ben’s rhythmic and passionate artistry on guitar they love playing to audiences who enjoy their poetic sound and life rich lyrics.

Souly Us says “ Our new single ’Everything Has Changed’ represents change and how life has altered during this process of COVID 19. Change is something we are familiar with. Through both of our lives we have had to experience a lot of it!The fact that the whole world right now is going through an immense amount of change.This is all new territory for every single one of us right now. We are just taking it day by day and praying for a cure. Praying for something to come along that will allow us to live ‘normally’ again. This song speaks of change.”

Their Career Highlights have included  ‘APRA AMCOS New Songwriter of the Year’ from the Tamworth Songwriters Association(TSA) 2019 for their debut single ‘Meant to Be’ (2018)

The release of their four track EP ‘Hello World’ January 12th 2019 debuting at No.5 on the iTunes Country Music Charts and No.75 on the iTunes Music Charts all genres.

​April 25 2019 saw Souly Us release their second single ‘My Soldier’ debuting at #10 on the iTunes Country Music Charts. With this release funds were donated to the Australian War Memorial and The Legacy in respect of ANZAC DAY with every pre-order.

The first full studio album ​‘Alive’ was released in September 2019, produced by Ben Mawdsley, mixed by Matt Fell and mastered by Michael Carpenter.

Peaking at no.13 on the iTunes Country Music Charts and with their self produced music video for ‘Alive’ making it to the top finals in the World Songwriting Awards,

WINNER of ‘Best Americana Album’ in the Clouzine International Music Awards for Spring 2020.

WINNER of ‘Best Americana Album’ in The Akademia Music Awards February 2020.

A highlight of their career to date is having been an opening act for Shannon Noll and The Eurogliders.
