Inspired by the power of love and unity, Ben Haenow has penned a beautiful ballad titled ‘Rising’. The touching track serves as his third independent single.

Ben is no stranger to sharing deeply emotive lyrics but he has described ‘Rising’ as potentially his most heartfelt song to date.

The uplifting anthem is sure to warm the hearts of listeners as it is an ode to Ben’s wife Jessica. Its sentiment is one that will resonate with people globally.

Speaking about his new single, the former X Factor winner said:

‘Rising’ is a song that makes me smile every time I listen to it. It is inspired by the woman who’s been my everything going through the crazy world of The X Factor and everything else.

To have somebody who you can go to who doesn’t judge you for anything and completely understands everything you do. To have somebody that stands by you and understands is an incredible thing for me. It’s the first truly felt love song that I’ve ever written and it is inspired by my fantastic wife.

After more than ten years together, Ben and Jessica got married in Italy earlier this year. The newlywed couple are elated and Ben’s new single ‘Rising’ holds a very special place in Jessica’s heart. She explained:

Hearing ‘Rising’ before Ben could explain about it made me cry. It’s such a beautiful song. When I was at his London gig, my heart could’ve burst with love and pride. I still look at him and cannot believe he is my husband.

‘Rising’ is very special to me of course, and featured in different ways at our wedding which made the day even more perfect for me. When I listen to ‘Rising’ now, it already holds so many precious memories along with my pride and love for Ben. It’s still quite overwhelming.

‘Rising’ was co-written by Ben and his brother Alex. It follows the Croydon-born singer’s previous singles: ‘Alive’ and ‘Forgive & Forget’. All three tracks will feature on Ben’s forthcoming second album which is set for release next year.

It’s been another great year for Ben Haenow. As well as marrying the love of his life, the talented musician has embarked on two headline tours and released three much-loved singles. With more original material on its way, 2018 is sure to bring Ben even more success.
