Born from a period of newfound creative sobriety and experimentation, the collection is his most honest work to date. Eschewing “word salad psychedelia” for specific, meaningful themes like death and biotech, the album was largely written during early morning sessions in Brooklyn. The record features contributions from Michael Sachs (woodwinds/brass), Jordi Nus (strings), and Alden Harris-McCoy (guitar).
