Chicago-based one woman industrial electronic army has just dropped a remix of her song hit single ‘Pray’ by Stabbing Westward, available on all streaming services now. The original track was written, produced and performed by I Ya Toyah and produced, mixed and mastered by Nick Palazzo at Evolution Recording and remixed by Stabwalt (also known as Walter Flakus) of Stabbing Westward.

The uplifting, industrial goth track will bring some serious energy into the dark club scene. With its feverish groove and vehement tone, “Pray – Stabbing Westward Remix” just can’t go unignored.

I Ya Toyah has long been a fan of Stabbing Westward. “I discovered them with ‘Save Yourself’ when I was growing up, living in my native country, Poland. They have been my musical heroes since. Having one of my songs reimagined by them feels unreal!” says I Ya Toyah.

The Out of Order E.P. featuring “Pray” is available for streaming and download on bandcamp. Click here to purchase physical cds, vinyl records, and specific merch from I Ya Toyah’s fashion line.

About I Ya Toyah

I Ya Toyah is an alternative industrial electronic artist with music that blends smooth, cutting edge vocals with surreal guitars, hypnotizing beats, and multiple synth elements arising into dark arrangements that, combined with storytelling lyrics, respond to the paranoia of everyday reality. She is a one woman army with a live show unveiling her passion and empowering the audience with the message of strength and independence of a solo artist. The meaning behind the name I Ya Toyah sustains these values- when spoken out loud, in Polish it means It’s Just Me. Her logo art emerging from peace and anarchy symbols highlights the rebel psyche, I Ya Toyah’s true nature.

I Ya Toyah’s new E.P. Out of Order was released on bandcamp on March 26th, exclusively – with 15% of each physical sale going towards the support of suicide prevention with AFSP, and was later released on all streaming platforms. The E.P. was reviewed by Brutal Resonance as ‘one of the most solid releases in 2021.’ The music videos for the first two singles, Out of Order and Concrete won the Video of the Week award and competition by Transmission / Transmisja European music blog. Out of Order single has been added into rotation on World National Indie Radio’s ‘2021 Best Female Artists’.  In May, I Ya Toyah announced the launch of her lipstick line: Death’s Kiss by I Ya Toyah– a tribute to the fourth single on the record. In August she released a limited edition Out of Order transparent blue vinyl record. Her song Pray was nominated to 2021 W.A.M. Awards for Best Pandemic Song category. I Ya Toyah got an additional nomination for a Female Artist of The Year.

While putting all the focus in programming and rehearsing her new material, I Ya Toyah currently awaits new tour dates and confirmations for 2022.
