Sydney, Australia based 22 year old singer/songwriter/rapper Nick de la Hoyde has released his new throwback single “Thinking About You,” showcasing an electronic combination of modern electronica with 2000’s R&B; the result a fusion of old and new. In collaboration with producer and brother Joseph (ZUZU) de la Hoyde, “Thinking About You” features a punchy vocal, backed by a multi-layered array of bass and synth.

“Sometimes it’s better for me to write down what’s on my mind instead of leaving it left alone in my head,” Nick stated in a recent interview with Twist. “So that’s exactly what I did when we starting writing ‘Thinking About You.'”

“Thinking About You” is now available on Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music.

Turning to music as a means to express his angst pursuing a professional football career in Barcelona, Nick’s music presents a unique and deeply personal insight into young, dreams and determination. Melding sounds of hip hop, rock, RnB and spoken word, together with introspective lyrics that read like personal journal entries, Nick has quickly made a name for himself, amassing a large following across multiple social media platforms. This has led Nick to become a powerful youth role model, using his music and unique entrepreneurial skills to establish himself as a brand for both youth determination and empowerment.
