“Places – Happy Cat Jay Remix” is the 4th release from Ela Nedra on the Independent label “I like Flamingoes.” Ela collaborated with producer Happy Cat Jay who placed his magical stamp on the remix by putting his house and broken beat spin on the track.

Places, the 3rd release from Tropical, Electro-Pop artist Ela Nedra was produced by Grammy nominated Clayton Morrison & co-written by Hannah Wilson (Galantis). Her previous release of Live it up Slow was remixed by London R&B songstress Ruby Francis & Jodie Abacus production collaborator Raph A, who gave it a 90’s tinged R&B disco vibe.

Places and the Remix of Live it up Slow received a great deal of support from blogs such as Discobelle, Divine & Vents Magazine, and saw pick up from over 15 independent playlists on Spotify such as Weekly Hits, American Top 40 & Primavera Sound 2019

Ela Nedra is a lover of the music of heat-drenched islands. The positivity within the message of her music shines like the sun. She says when questioned about her music “I like truth and I tend to listen to my music early in the morning; the quiet somehow makes for peace within. I’m a hippy, I know, just happy to have been given the chance to make and sing music that relates to where I’m at now. Electronics in sound doesn’t have to be cold! There is heat in the music. You can hear clearly when you listen with your body and heart.”
