J’Moris, born in Ft. Worth Texas, was raised in Hillsboro Texas. As a child, he always found himself drawn to music. At the age of 17 he dropped his first single “Play On” which was featured on Rapper/Producer Bellafante Mixtape Transformation Chamber.

He further developed his style while attending college. While at Lamar University he co-founded an organization, which he represents until this day, Tru Mi$fitz (Tru Misfitz).

Being a Southern Native, He grew up listening to and being influenced by Southern Legends such as, Scarface, UGK, Chamillionaire, and other great Texas artist. He was also heavily influenced by the styles and lyrics of East coast rappers. Over the years he learned to combine the witty lyrics with his southern style, thus creating a unique flow.

In 2011, after having his first child, he came back home and decided to focus more on his craft.

Connecting with Rapper/Producer Bellafante again, he became a member of Illuhfied Entertainment

Soon after connecting, J’Moris decided to end the relationship with Illuhfied Entertainment and try things as an independent artist. As he continues to grow as an artist, he has proving time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with.
