Todd Omohundro is a talented musician who has performed with some of music’s greatest, like Pink, Chicago, many Broadway stars, The Philly Pops, and the Philadelphia Orchestra. His latest release, The Future is Calling, is his 10 song jazz-rock tale that harkens us back to what albums really mean, a compilation of songs specifically put together in a way to tell a story through music, an art that is slowly dying within the industry today.

What The Future is Calling does is what people have been missing. His songs blend together in a way that makes you want to listen more. He leads you on the whole album. His big orchestrations, Broadway influence, and an overall Chicago feeling give the album passion and flow that you won’t get anywhere else. It’s almost like you’re listening to it live when you hear it, but by the end of the album, you realize that you’re in your bedroom jamming out to his upbeat and catchy tunes.

Todd just wants to spread love and goodness in the world through music and theatre. As a teacher, he was able to spread that to his students and as a musician, he continues that message. “My grandest wish as an artist now is to inspire people and have concerts that are like a combination music show and inspirational seminar,” shares Todd. “In the bible, it says something to the effect ‘wherever people have no vision, they perish.’ The Future Is Calling flowed through me super quickly and was written in like 15 minutes. Felt like it was given to me by spirit honestly.”
