Electronic pop duo Cherryade prescribe a potent dose of mystical advice in the video for their latest single, ‘Got You Good’. An in-your-face concoction of infectious melodies and irresistible beats, the video sees singer Fortune Ella the Fortune Teller stare deep into her crystal ball to provide the remedy for romantic misery. Speaking about the single, Ella explains the track was written “for a friend who was making some bad decisions, so it’s a bit of a wakeup call to sort your shit out and realise you deserve better. I think a lot of people can relate to the lyrics and have been in similar situations at one point or another”.

The track is taken from their debut mini album, Fractured Fairytales, which is out now. It also features the title track and debut single ‘Fractured Fairytales’, the mischievous ‘Get By’ and the floor-filling ‘Blah Blah’.

Their previous releases have been creating a stir across the blogosphere, which has seen them tipped by the likes of Wonderland who proclaimed that the duo are “set for greatness” and DIY who tagged them as a “pop explosion impossible to contain”. Acclaim has also come from the likes of The Guardian, Radio 1, BBC Introducing, The Line Of Best Fit, Clash Magazine, Nylon, TIME magazine, Spotify New Music Friday and more.

The duo, formed of childhood friends Ella and Alex, bonded at Catholic school over their love of music coming from the likes of MIA, Lil’ Kim, Santigold, Amanda Blank and soon got to work creating this fierce, pop project recording dodgy bedroom demos on their iPhones.

Now pushing the boundaries of the mainstream, the pair are producing addictive dance-floor bangers alongside the likes of Dillistone (Dua Lipa, Frances), Ant Whiting (M.I.A., John Newman), Lewis Gardiner (PRIDES, KLOE) and Dimitri Tikovoi (Charli XCX, MNEK), which sees them creating their own unique take on modern pop.
