Indie-pop duo Eighty Ninety are back today with an exclusive video of their hit single, “Your Favorite Song,” recorded live at Brooklyn’s Douglass Recording. The video premiered April 17 on upfrontNY alongside an exclusive interview.

Based out of Brooklyn, New York, Eighty Ninety is the project of two brothers, Abner (vocals, production) and Harper (guitar, production). Their music fuses intimate storytelling, sticky melodies, and minimalist pop productions built on acoustic instruments and electronic sounds in a style they like to call “808s and telecasters”.

Their break out single, “Three Thirty,” catapulted to #2 on Spotify’s Global Viral Charts and was followed by their debut EP Elizabethwhich was supported heavily by Spotify and tastemakers alike. The brothers returned at the end of 2017 with “Your Favorite Song,” which was also remixed by Island Record’s budding electro-pop duo, Loote. To date, the duo have racked up over 20 million Spotify streams and have received praise from Alternative Press, Huffington Post, Galore, LADYGUNN and Ones To Watch, just to name a few.

The past year has been momentous for the indie-pop brothers: they opened for Des Rocs in Brooklyn, toured with Savoir Adore along the East Coast, made their SXSW debut, and even received the stamp of approval from Taylor Swift when she added their single “Your Favorite Song” to her “Songs Taylor Loves” playlist. Eighty Ninety recently inked a deal with management company Hard 8 Working Group (home to Billie Eilish, Ashe, CYN) and their sophomore EP is set to be released later this year.
