Growing up in foster care, 20-year-old Dutch artist – Joshua J – has already won over the likes of Dr. Dre on earlier material (‘Flowers’ EP).

A DIY pioneer in every sense, Joshua J is not only a vocalist but also produces and masters his own material. He is also fully involved in the artwork creation, as well as directing, filming and editing his own visual content. Joshua also releases material through his own label ‘CMP Records’ (Custom Made Passion).

He began playing the piano at the age of 6 and went on to become a DJ aged 12 – which won him first prize in a National competition. Leaving the DJ career behind, Joshua J has since opened for acts such as Col3trane, ODIE & TheColorGrey.

2019 will see Joshua J release a wealth of new material & embark on a UK tour.

“Taking inspiration from Chance The Rapper, his lyrics and electronic beats are simultaneously both relaxing and invigorating.” – Wonderland Magazine

“It’s a vibrant and quite optimistic affair, channelling the positivity of Chance the Rapper.” – CLASH

Anders is the creative force and technical architect behind Divine Magazine’s editorial identity. Blending Scandinavian minimalism with a sharp instinct for digital storytelling, he shapes the magazine’s voice, visual rhythm, and structural clarity. His work moves between worlds — part editor, part engineer — ensuring every article is not only beautifully crafted but technically flawless beneath the surface. From SEO frameworks to asset design, from WordPress architecture to the magazine’s cinematic featured imagery, Anders builds the systems that let stories breathe. He curates Divine’s tone with intention: clean lines, honest language, and a commitment to elevating everyday subjects into something quietly extraordinary. Whether refining editorial workflows or sculpting the magazine’s long‑term creative direction, Anders brings a steady hand and an eye for detail — the kind that turns a publication into a signature.
