Dallas,Texas’ brightest rising star in eclectic soul music Latoya Cooper “The Songstress” teams up with fellow hometown opera soul singer Madelyn Brené and indie hip hop queen Jay Bang for the brand new single “Wife Won’t Mind.

Written by Latoya Cooper and produced by Bailey Graham, the new single is available now on all streaming platforms and follows the recent release of Latoya’s “Love Affair” single.

LaToya Cooper is one of Dallas, Texas’ brightest rising stars in music. Her sound is influenced by pioneers such as Nancy Wilson and Anita Baker, as well as contemporary luminaries like Mary J. Blige. She got her start in local bands, opening for reggae superstars such as The Wailers and Jimmy Cliff at the Austin Reggae Fest. Latoya took a break from music and went on to earn three consecutive degrees, including her MBA. She returned to music shortly thereafter to record her debut solo project, the Eclectic Soul EP, released in 2015.
