Speaking on the release, Nouvelle says “The simplicity of composing pieces using only the piano has something honest to it. I wanted to draw a drastic contrast to this short-living world, drowning in hate and plastic. My journey to Zaouiat Ahansal – a hidden village in a remote valley in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and only accessible by foot or mule – inspired the idea of this plain tranquility.”
With ‘Piano Pieces’ penned for the 25th January 2019, the new year will also see the release of Pablo’s award-winning short animation – ‘In A Nutshell’ – as Vimeo’s staff pick on 2nd January.
