Scatterbrain is the newest release from Alt/Pop rising singer-songwriter Tally Spear, following her previous single release, City Girl.

Tally released her debut Fade To White EP   to critical acclaim in the spring of 2018, although she wanted to take her music somewhere new.

Having attracted nearly 200,000 streams for her track, Days Like These, alongside enjoying performances at some notable festivals including Black Deer  & VegFest, Tally decided to take some time out and give her creativity room to breathe.

During the 5 months she spent crafting her new material alongside acclaimed writer/producer Martin Hollis (Adele, Mark Ronson, Tom Walker, The Staves) at British Grove Studios, Tally went through a musical transition.

She took time out from performance, social media and just immersed herself in a journey of musical self-discovery:

“Something just happened with my taste. I went through a change on what I was listening to when I was writing. It just became a new sound. I had a very clear vision of what I wanted to do in terms of production.”

The London music scene has had a strong influence on Tally ’s music:

” I grew up in the city, I’ve never lived anywhere else. It’s a strong part of who I am and how I think”

Experimenting, being surrounded by fellow musicians, being part of an emerging music scene in the city has had a big impact on her sound, evolving into the alternative pop field but retaining a singer-songwriter flavor.

Everything is hand-made with Tally  – writing her own songs, she co-produces her music & directs & edits her own videos.  City Girl video has already achieved 20,000+ views

In recent months, Tally has been gigging around London both solo and with her band. Hitting stages of the likes of Pop Brixton and British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park.
