Parker Mckay lays it all on the line in her stirring breakup ballad ‘Honest.‘” – Billboard

I wrote this song with Adam James and it kind of came out of nowhere,” McKay stated about the writing process. “He started playing this progression on a Wurlitzer at the beginning of a write and I had just been listening to a bunch of rap on the way over and started ad-libbing some rapid phrases over it. The word ‘honest’ came out and we ran with it. This is one of my favorite things I’ve ever written and it was a turning point for me and my artistry.

McKay effortlessly goes from smoky-voiced siren to powerhouse vocalist over a shimmering pop-country production in her latest release, “This Far.”‘ – CMT

‘This Far” is a pop-country jam whose lyrics we can all relate to.” – Taste of Country

The young artist certainly looks ready for the gig.” – Rolling Stone
