Following a commanding introductory single ‘Mayday’ and liberating title-track ‘Wildflowers’, the British singer-songwriter Lissy Taylor shares her personally driven Wildflowers EP.

Once again, Lissy’s guitar-led smokey style dominates her story-telling as we join this instinctive creative on a journey of self-discovery. Her continuously dark-yet-dreamy atmosphere mirrors the connection between the past, present and future, to which Lissy Taylor looks to with new-found hope.

Previously unheard track ‘High’ is a truly unmissable moment on the EP. It pivots with all the untamed and youthful energy that this artist portrays so distinctly through her indie-rock sound. Fiery guitar riffs, driving rock percussions, jangling tambourine and plentiful expansive reverb, which is all topped of by Lissy’s alluring femme-fatale voice.

The Stoke-on-Trent musician explains the meaning behind Wildflowers EP:

“The Wildflowers EP is a personal insight to emotional struggle, healing and growth.  My songwriting stems from reflecting on my own feelings and this EP for me explores vulnerability, empowerment and love.”
